Le Clocher is a cosy, beautifully appointed chalet, perfect for year-round escapes in the French Alps. With four bedrooms accommodating up to 10 guests, it’s tucked away at the end of a quiet valley, just a short drive to the charming villages of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval and Samoëns.
Recently renovated to a high standard, the chalet blends modern comfort with a welcoming alpine atmosphere, giving you everything you need to unwind and enjoy a truly relaxing mountain retreat.
The area
Le Clocher is located in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval, a traditional mountain village named after the spectacular Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, a designated Grand Site de France and a must-visit natural landmark.
The chalet
The chalet itself is meticulously designed, where every room exudes cosy luxury. The open-plan living space is designed for comfort and relaxation, with generous seating and a warm, contemporary alpine feel. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and frame the surrounding mountain views - ideal for unwinding after a day outdoors.

What Our Guests Say
We much enjoyed our summer stay! Visited with a total of 7 adults and 2 toddlers, and was a perfect mountain getaway. The host was lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The home is as beautiful as pictured in the photos, with high quality kitchen appliances, and beautiful furniture and fixtures throughout. We didn't end up using the sauna this time, but did enjoy some soaks in the hot tub after our hikes. We appreciated how sound proof the upstairs bedrooms are from the living space, since the babies have early bedtimes.

Our group was lucky enough to be the first to book this home and we were not disappointed. Absolutely gorgeous modern chalet with panoramic mountain and waterfall views, tons of space indoors and out, and every comfort you could possibly want on a ski vacation. Joanna and Paul were wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home...very kind and helpful, but also allowed us our space. The entire place is very well designed, and the hot tub and sauna were both very welcomed after a long day of enjoying the mountains.
Overall 10/10...we wouldn't think twice about booking again if we return to the region!

Luxury and very well equipped chalet! Good for two families with kids. Comfortable bedrooms and very cozy living room with fireplace that we've enjoyed every evening after a day on the slops. The kitchen has everything you need if you prefer to cook, but also very good recommendations provided for a in-chalet catering/delivery (very convenient, reasonably priced and delicious!).
An absolute highlight is jacuzzi & sauna. Exactly what you need for your winter holidays!

Joanna's home was absolutely wonderful! The house was clean, modern, spacious, and beautifully landscaped with flowers and plants on the deck. It provided us with so much comfort after days of hiking and biking in the mountains. Joanna communicated well and the entire process felt seamless from beginning to end.
